Drawing with Yvonne East
This class is suitable for both beginners and intermediate students.
This class will develop your observational drawing skills and give you the tools to translate the three-dimensional world around us into a two-dimensional drawing. Each week, drawing activities are introduced to build your drawing skills and develop your knowledge of how artists have creatively used drawing techniques to create masterworks. Intermediate and advanced level students will be provided with increasingly complex activities and provocations to expand and consolidate their skills.

Within this program, students will develop their foundational art skills through practice with various media and artistic processes. The students will be encouraged to develop their creative side and to explore new forms of art, which will be influenced by a range of contemporary and traditional artists and their work. The cognitive/physical actions of the artistic process will be a central focus within this program, so that students may also explore their creativity externally.
