Pricing

All prices on this site are in Australian dollars and are subject to change. Prices include GST (if any) unless otherwise marked. An invoice/receipt will be issued on successful enrolment or purchase.

Hardcopy of programs and PDF versions may not be up to date. Please check website and the front office for most recent scheduling and pricing.

All fees for courses are collected by the Willoughby Arts Centre on behalf of the Tutor. All course fees collected from students will be inclusive of GST (if any). The Tutor will provide a student with a tax invoice if requested.

Where requested, the Willoughby Arts Centre will provide a tax invoice for Visiting Artist workshops.

Unless stated otherwise, fees cover tuition (a term is 9 weeks). You will need to provide your own art materials (except for children’s classes where materials are included).


Terms and Conditions

You can enrol online or through the office via phone or in person. You are welcome to contact the Tutors directly to discuss the course outline, materials required and to check if there are any additional fees eg. model/firing fees. Tutor contact details are listed in their course description. (Visiting Artists contact details are kept private)

Payment in full will confirm your enrolment and is required before commencing the term/workshop. You can pay online, or over the phone with Visa or MasterCard, or at the office with EFTPOS or cash during business hours.

Willoughby Arts Centre reserves the right to amend any class, tutor or schedule. In such circumstances, we will endeavour to provide a substitute class or tutor of equal standing. Should a class have to be cancelled due to insufficient enrolments, any student enrolled in that class will be contacted and an alternative class or refund arranged. Enrolment is dependent on availability. Minimum enrolments are required for all courses.

Priority bookings: Current students have priority and will be automatically re-enrolled for the following term. Students are requested to confirm enrolment with payment in full by the due date.

Only students enrolled may attend courses. Willoughby Arts Centre reserves the right to refuse enrolment without explanation and a refund will be processed in those circumstances.

There are no child minding facilities available at the Centre. The Willoughby Arts Centre accepts no responsibility for children before or after classes.

The Centre is closed on public holidays. Should your class fall on a public holiday, you will be advised of a replacement class date.


Refund Policy

Please choose carefully as fees are non-refundable. Refunds of course fees will only be given if the course is cancelled or a place is not available in the course. Full payment must be made prior to commencement of the course. The Willoughby Arts Centre cannot accept responsibility for changes to students' personal circumstances that prevent attendance. Classes missed are the student’s responsibility and are non-refundable. Students are not entitled to a discount or ‘make-up’ class if they miss a class in any course they have enrolled in.


Privacy Policy

This site uses TLS certificates to protect your privacy and security. It is regularly audited to ensure it complies with the credit card industry PCI standards. The site may store cookies in your browser and your browsing details may be anonymously stored in order to assist with website analytics. The Willoughby Arts Centre aims to protect your personal information. The Centre will only disclose your personal information to administration staff and your course tutor.


Photography

From time to time we take photos during class of students and artworks. These photos are used for Willoughby Arts Centre’s promotional purposes only including online and print. As a Condition of Enrolment your consent is implied. Should you not wish us to take and use photos of you, your child or your artwork please notify us in writing.


Work Health & Safety

Covered shoes must be worn in all studios. No open-toed footwear is allowed in studios. The Willoughby Arts Centre, in compliance with the NSW Work Health & Safety Act, is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for its employees, tutors, students, hirers and visitors. To meet its obligations the Willoughby Arts Centre has an induction program to provide students with a knowledge of WH&S procedures at the Centre.


Studio Hire

Members may hire studios when classes are not in session. Studio hire is only available to members.

Payment of Studio Hire implies that you have read and agree to the Studio Hire Terms & Conditions and have fulfilled the criteria and obligations outlined therein.


Membership

The WAC is a non-profit company limited by guarantee to the sum of $20 per member.
