The Willoughby Arts Centre is the only truly independent, not-for-profit art centre in Australia.

THE BENEFITS OF BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE WILLOUGHBY ARTS CENTRE

We receive no regular funding from any organisation. This allows us the freedom to make our own decisions, free from external pressures and always in favour of members.

We would urge you to sign up to be a member. Your membership is vital for the Centre's longevity and for maintaining the high standards we always aspire to, here at the Willoughby Arts Centre.

  • $20 discount on each holiday workshop booked throughout your membership year.
  • Discounts on art supplies & framing at participating outlets.
  • Members Bulletin – a monthly member-only email newsletter giving you information on upcoming exhibition opportunities & art prizes - keeping you in the know.
  • Opportunity to submit work in the annual Ewart Art Prize.
  • Access to group studio hire when available to practise your art (minimum number & fees apply).
  • Borrowing rights to our well-stocked library.

Where your Membership fee goes

  • Supports the purchase of new & additional equipment.
  • Supports the Centre to maintain low fees.
  • Funds Centre sustainability & maintenance including building & garden upgrades & general maintenance.
  • Supports the establishment of a creative hub, allowing the Centre to develop & experiment with new programs.
  • Supports emerging artists through the maintenance of low exhibition fees, the Ewart Art Prize & the delivery of events that showcase artists and other community-involved projects.
  • Contributes to Centre viability including maintaining financial reserves.
  • Assists in building & maintaining the reputation of the Centre, its students, teachers and hirers.

Single Membership $60

Duo Membership $100 [available to two members who live at the same address]

Pensioner Membership $45 [available to members who have a valid pensioner concession card]

Regional Membership $45 [available to members who live 70km or more outside Sydney]

Teacher Membership $45 [available to current Willoughby Arts Centre teachers]

Full 12 months from payment inc. GST

The Willoughby Arts Centre is a non-profit organisation limited by guarantee to the sum of $20 per member.

When you become a Member you will receive a Membership card and information about supplier discounts.
