Suitable for beginners - intermediate
Spend a full day immersed in the creative world of lino printmaking with artist Mark Rowden. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore a range of techniques including classic black-and-white printing, simple two-colour layering, and experimental mixed media approaches.
Learn to design, carve, and print your own lino block using quality paper and ink. Discover how to create bold contrasts, playful textures, and dynamic compositions using both hand-printing and press-printing methods.
Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this is a relaxed and inspiring session that gives you time to experiment and produce a series of original prints.
All lino, paper, and inks are provided. If you have your own carving tools, feel free to bring them along, an apron is a good idea.
