Suitable for beginners
Explore expressive mark making through carving woodblocks.
Reduction cut images, stenciling and a combination of blocks may be used.
Carving tools will be available, non-toxic relief inks applied by rollers will be used.
Printing done either through the press or by hand with barens.
An A4 laser photocopy image can be released onto the wood (please bring a printed image from home).
Printing will be on a light weight A4 Japanese paper and A4 acid free cartridge.
Cost includes materials.
