Accurately drawing the hands and feet can feel daunting for many artists. This course will introduce you to the structure, proportion, and anatomy of the hands and feet and provide step by step guidance on how to simplify complex shapes and observe unique details. Enhanced with gestural forms and mark making, these skills can be applied to your drawings and paintings to communicate the inherently expressive and emotional qualities of the hands and feet.

Materials list
- A2 or A3 drawing paper (a good quality cartridge paper will be sufficient).
- Graphite pencil 2H, HB and 2B
- Coloured pencils (three to four colours)
- Kneadable and nylon erasers
- Charcoal pencils and sticks (if you would like to work with this medium)
- Sketchbook or notebook
- Optional: A4 printout/photocopy of hands and feet you would like to draw.
