This is an open workshop where artists are taken through the basics and more advanced students are encouraged to pursue and develop their own creative projects.
Demonstration and workshops within the class will explore methods and techniques of oil and acrylic.

Acrylic Painting Materials
- Bristle brushes: Eterna #579 or similar 2,4,6,10,12
- Flats Nylon 6, 8, 10
- Disposable tear off A4 or A3 Palette
- Spreader medium
- Drying Retarder
Derivan Matisse acrylic or equivalent colours:
- Titanium white
- Lemon Yellow
- Red middle
- Alizarin Crimson
- Ultramarine Blue
- Cobalt blue (hue)
- Burnt Umber
- Yellow Oxide
- Ivory Black
- Viridian Green hue
Oil Painting Materials
- Brushes - a range of sizes and shaped brushes at least flats sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, 10,
- A palette knife
- Odourless solvent
- Refined linseed oil
- Disposable tear off A3 palette
- Clean rag
