Painting & Drawing in Mixed Media - Judith White

This course has a structured program of exercises and demonstrations to provide a solid grounding in technical skills, help build confidence and expand creative energy. There will be time during the term to work on personal projects, as well as outdoor work excursions. 

Materials List | Term 1 2026

We start the term with a general painting exercise.

You will need:

• Full sheet of good watercolour paper 320grm at least.
• Another surface to start a painting eg canvas of any size or a second sheet of good paper.
• Bring all your painting materials
• ie; acrylic paint including the pigments Raw Sienna, Dioxazine Purple, Red gold, Antique White.
• Brushes, drawing materials, blade cutter
• PVA glue, white tissue paper (for collage)
• note pad or small pad of cartridge paper.
• Palette (large flat and white)
• White oil pastel. Good quality eg Sennelier or Holbein
• Medium size pad (A3) of cartridge paper for general work, stencils, diagrams, etc
