This class is suitable for intermediate and advanced students
This is an 6 week course of 4 hours lessons designed to allow students to develop a real momentum in their art practice. Individual tuition will encourage personal visual language in their preferred medium. There will be some class exercises designed to equip students with skills that help visual problem-solving. Please refer to materials list provided.
Saturday Sessions Term 3 Materials
Required for first day of Term 3
Bring your usual painting materials eg, acrylics, PVA glue, white tissue paper.
Include in your brushes a wide house painting type brush from a hardware store; around 70mm wide is ideal
Surfaces to work on:
- Full sheet of good drawing paper
- Sheet of watercolour paper or canvas to begin a painting. This is optional for Monday and Saturday class as you may want to start working on your own projects.
- Black and Burnt Sienna drawing ink
- Black and White oil pastel or oil stick
